Sleeping naked More Healthier

Sleep experts agree the importance of keeping the body temperature down about half a degree to sleep. To reach that temperature, sleep naked rated easy to condition the body temperature down and maintain the required temperature of the brain to fall asleep.

Brain stimulated by our body's internal clock at night to send a message to the blood vessels to open and release body heat.

"Our body temperature is highest at 11 pm and the lowest at 4 o'clock dawn," said Dr. Chris Idzikowski, director of the Edinburgh Sleep Center and author of Sound Asleep: The Expert Guide to Sleeping Well. "When there is something that inhibits the decrease in temperature, it means you have trouble sleeping or sleep disorder," he said.

"The advantage of sleeping naked is to make it easier down the body temperature and keep the body temperature to be achieved as the brain," says Russell Foster, professor of circadian neuroscience from the University of Oxford. "If we wear a lot of clothes, it is difficult to arrange body temperature. Therefore, wear as little clothing as possible," he said.

Sleep disturbed because the temperature is too hot not mean we become less sleep, but means we lose sleep deep. Deep sleep is the key to memory consolidation and production of growth hormone is needed to repair and cell growth.

A study in 2008 by the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience proves the importance of body temperature during sleep. In that study volunteers slept wearing thermosuit that allows researchers to manipulate the temperature of the skin without altering the body temperature.

The research team found when the body temperature is raised only 0.4 degrees Celsius, volunteers significantly not awake at night. In elderly volunteers, the effect is more obvious. The temperature rise of the nearly two-fold increase the proportion of deep sleep and lowering the risk of waking up too early from 50 to 4 percent.

Warms skin causes blood vessels to dilate so that heat is lost more easily. "This speeds up the bed, letting the heat flow from the center of the body and the body temperature down a bit," said Foster.

In other words, to sleep easily, we need to be quite warm so not constrict blood vessels but also not too hot so that the body temperature can go down. "In order for an adequate body temperature down, change socks with a hot water bottle," said Dr. Idzikowski.

"Socks are not allowing the body to lose heat from the feet, as a result we are even heat," he said. Hot water bottles make feet warm but later changed it cools.

The couple also helps to regulate the temperature in the bed. "When cold, you can embrace the couple. After warm, we can change positions," said Foster.
